Brady Grey and Josh Deluca’s tenure at Fremantle continues after the pair were picked up at today’s NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

After being delisted at the end of the season, both Grey and Deluca were allowed the opportunity to train with the club, with the possibility of being redrafted.

Featuring in two games for Fremantle and nine for Peel in 2016, Grey’s season was interrupted mid-year with an ankle injury.

After making his AFL debut in round 23 of the 2015 season against Port Adelaide, Grey featured in rounds five and six in 2016, picking up 16 and 14 disposals respectively.

Grey also played in the mid-field for Peel, performing exceptionally in a tagging role, picking up 12 tackles in a shutdown effort on one of East Fremantle’s strongest midfielders in Liam Anthony.

Deluca played almost every game in Peel’s maiden premiership season, including four impressive performances in the finals series.

Playing against former club Subiaco in the WAFL Grand Final, Deluca racked up 12 tackles and 16 disposals while playing on Subiaco’s Leigh Kitchin.

At the 3km time trial, Deluca proved his fitness by finishing in a tie for fifth alongside Nat Fyfe.
